It was 4:30pm on a dreary, cold November Friday in Pittsburgh. I was recapping the week’s events with our customer service manager and PR rep, when one them said, “Kim, let’s get out of here for the weekend.” Jokingly I said how a good friend of mine lives in South Beach and I’ve been meaning to go for a visit. Within 15 minutes, we booked our plane tickets and were literally sprinting out of the office to catch our 6:30pm flight. This wasn’t of course before I hit the CDT closet. One year later, I’m reminiscing of how spontaneous and amazing that vacation was. From arriving at midnight and be-lining to Liv at the Fontainebleau, to spending Saturday at a pool party at the Delano, to watching a Miami sunset at a gorgeous condo on the ocean on Sunday, we certainly made the most our 48 hour adventure.
