Friday, January 7th, 2011

Whether you are in the sunny south or snowy north, you are going to need some shades to block the brightness. Snag these hot sunglasses from Roberto Cavalli for only $88 (originally $395)!

Roberto Cavalli debuted his eponymous line in 1970 on the Parisian runway. He quickly caught the attention of famed fashion houses, Hermes and Pierre Cardin, which launched him into becoming an internationally acclaimed designer. What set Cavalli apart was his revolutionary printing on leather, allowing him to create extremely unique patchwork designs (a technique he later patented). Now known for his printed denim, intarsia leathers, brocade and wild animal prints, Cavalli continues to surprise us with his cutting edge, high fashion patterns and silhouettes.

The inspiration behind the label comes from various cultural influences, including Guatemalan, Japanese, Indian and Jamaican styles. Our current collection is a combination of African and eighties-pop with a punch of Gwen’s own rocker style. Here are some pieces I’m loving right now:

Our Favorite Line: Alice + Olivia is Back!

Tuesday, January 4th, 2011

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, I love Alice + Olivia! Every season I have a few new “novelty” lines that I fall in love with, but I always come back to my five favorite core lines: Alice + Olivia, Elizabeth & James, J Brand, Nation LTD & Vince. Although there is no real distinction between the ranking of these lines, I have to say that Alice + Olivia takes slight precedence over the rest. Every season, Alice + Olivia’s collection gets better than the last and our current assortment is no exception. In my opinion, there are three must-have pieces of the moment:
