Why the LWD?
White dresses look fresh and modern. They’re all over the runways and red carpet. They certainly show tan skin off well – which is why they’ve become especially popular in the summer.
And no, white won’t make you look as big as Moby Dick. As long as you wear the right cut for your body type, you’ll look sexy.
Tips
There are certain considerations you’ll need to keep in mind before slipping on this, or any, LWD.
- Keep your skivvies secret…wear skin-colored bras and panties.
- Wear a shade that works for you – bright white isn’t for everyone; off-white works better for those with a warm skin tone.
- Pair with nude or neutral toned shoes, like metallics or beige. Save white shoes for children.
- Use white as your palette. Add a pop of color with a hand bag or jewelry.
Wear It
I LOVE the Grecian-inspired clothing, hair and accessories…but with this dress, I think it’s important not to pair it with Grecian accessories and hair – unless you’re going to a toga party. You don’t want to go overboard with one theme, or you’ll look like you’re in the wrong century.
