Among my friends, the pleated pant is a topic of controversy – some love them (including myself), and others are not so fond of the silhouette. Well my question today is, what about pleated shorts? For the past couple of years, shorts have been slowly making their way into the fashion scene, until SS11 Fashion Week, where it was impossible to deny that they are definitely a must-have for spring/summer 2011. I spotted these Alice + Olivia shorts last year and instantly loved them, but wasn’t sure if I could pull them off. After seeing the trend all over the runways, I knew I had to have them. Fortunately, we still had a pair left in inventory and it just so happened to be my size (it was fate!). I tried sporting the trend this weekend. Of course the pic turned out blurry, but I included a model pic so you can see them better. What are your thoughts? Is this fashion or a fashion faux pas?

Earlier this week, Kim Kardashian was spotted looking super sexy in Sena‘s signature Cut Out Dress. I have to admit that when we first got in this dress, I was a bit skeptical. It seemed like only a size 0 with absolutely no chest could confidently sport something of this deign. Although I still think it would look best on a less buoyant body type, Kim proves that even a girl with curves can look amazing in this dress.

Sena Yang debuted her self-titled line in Fall 09 and it just seems to be getting better and better. With fashion editors raving about it and celebs craving it, it’s no wonder that the Sena Cut Out Dress has been one of our top selling silhouettes. We currently have black and white in stock, but I just placed an order for this killer cobalt color (and restocked sizes of the current colors). They will be in by the end of the month, but in the meantime here is a peak at the Sena Cut Out in Blue:
