WHITE Up Your Wardrobe!

Wednesday, February 9th, 2011

Straight from Fashion Week Spring 2011, white was spotted everywhere from the tents at Lincoln Center to the runways of Stella McCartney, Calvin Klein, and Ann Demeulemeester to name a few. Modern minimalism is the trend that’s keeping stylists raving and celebs craving. Today CDT offers you a collection of incredibly chic dresses, jackets, tops and bottoms all in this spring’s coveted color (or lack there of). Being that tomorrow is the kick-off of Fashion Week Fall 2011, I’m going to need to grab a few pieces that will keep me looking stylishly chic all week long, and I can’t think of a better go-to hue. Here are a few looks I plan to rock this weekend (I’ll keep you posted via twitter). Who else is going to Fashion Week?

8.19.10 Trend Report: Maxi Skirts

Thursday, August 19th, 2010

To make a long story short, wait… a short story long – maxi skirts are making a revival. Although I love the mini just as much as the next girl, I am excited about all the possibilities for this new trend. I’ve been seeing a lot of these skirts spiced up with crop tops and baggy tanks. I’m really loving the look for the end of summer. What’s that, the fall is almost here you say? Imagine a slim fitting maxi paired with a chunky sweater, problem solved! Ahhh the potential…

8.11.10 Trend Report: Primary Pants

Wednesday, August 11th, 2010

Push aside the predictable jeans and grab a pair of colored pants. I’m loving them in primary colors! Pair with a basic white tee or black sweater and these bold pieces can be worn from summer right into fall.

7.28.10 Trend Report: The Highs and Lows of Socks

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

This fall socks are a must have! Whether they hit high above your knee or low and below – socks are a great addition to any outfit. My personal favorite – thigh-highs – showing just enough skin, these socks can make even the most conservative dress sexy.
