Gypsy 05 was founded in the spring of, you guessed it, 2005, by brother and sister, Osi and Dotan Shoham. The line is a blend of nature, creativity and culture – as this tank demonstrates with its front left screen print decal: “Peace with nature.” The racerback features a strip of words and symbols: “Peace, love, nature.” The ultra-soft 100% cotton tank is breezy, cool, and detailed with bare racer back and bright screen print motifs. History of the Racerback
Speedo created the racerback design in 1928 to allow swimmers more flexibility and maximize movement. Today, racerback designs come available in dresses, tanks and running tops.

How to Pull Off a Tank Top
Tanks are perfect for keeping cool in the summer heat. But tank tops can be a little tricky – from bra straps showing to layering gone wrong.
Follow these tips to avoid a tank top gone wrong:
- Wear a bra that hides under the straps.
- In this case, wear a strapless, a convertible strap bra or a racerback bra.
- Layering is an effective way to hide troublesome bra straps, but be careful about where the punch of color goes:
- For example, a wide hot pink band of color at the waist created by a tank underneath can bring undesired attention to the tummy.
- Wear an occasion appropriate tank top.

Great question, Roxy. The same happens to me – rather than a strapless, I wear a racerback bra under racerback tops and dresses. It gives a little more oomph to my chest.
Plus, the round neckline of this tank really helps, instead of a v-neck that can tend to make us look smaller chested as it shows off our rib cages. Cinching the waist helps to give a boost, too. Hope that helps!
