It’s been an exciting few weeks here at Chick as our pre-fall orders have started to arrive! Although I love the summer, this heat wave is definitely making me crave cool weather and all the textures that come along with fall clothes!

These three items are my MUST haves for the upcoming season…

PATTERSON J. KINCAID – Harlow Long Sleeve Blouse in Blush
This blouse is a perfect transitional piece from summer to fall. Sheer and Slouchy, I would layer it over a lace bra and under a blazer. I would wear this blush shirt with a pair of boyfriend Khakis, tucked in and belted. Together, this combination would create a neutral palette perfect for showcasing gold accessories, such as a long necklace or stacks of bangles.

ALICE + OLIVIA – Butterfly Short in Army
Typically made for summer, shorts are making moves into every girl’s cool weather wardrobes. Army green in color, this pair are perfect for fall. Made from stretch silk, these shorts can be worn both day or night. My pairing… a chunky sweater and a pair of nude heels!

VINCE – Cowl Neck Leather Jacket in Elephant
Perhaps one of the most versatile pieces of clothing, this fall everyone should get their hands on a leather jacket. For the past few seasons I have been on a serious hunt for the perfect one and here it is. This jacket brilliantly combines a fitted structure with a free-flowing asymmetrical front. This piece speaks for itself, therefore I would keep it simple with skinny jeans, a white t-shirt and a pair of boots.
