The Stone
A ruby is really a red sapphire and a Corundum mineral. Rubies and sapphires are identical in every property, except for color. Transparent and perfect rubies are more expensive that any other gem of those standards. The Burmese Ruby, the kind embedded in the Vintage Collection ring, is the most desirable ruby and has a blueish tint in the deep red color
The Stone
